The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project (in collaboration with the San Francisco Tenants Union) has been trying to compel the city to enforce against illegal vacation rentals for over two years. This report analyzes original data we have collected on owners who are running vacation rentals without proper permits, insurance and in violation of Administrative code 41A, which prohibits rentals of less than 30 days.
